The Defensive End was drafted by the LA Raiders in the Fourth Round of the 1983 draft after a stunning career at Texas Christian University. He was selected to 2 Pro Bowls and a 4-time All-Pro selection during his career while winning a Super Bowl with the Raiders in 1984. He is ranked 16th in the NFL all time list for career sacks with 109.5.
Drafted in the 14th Round of the 1968 AFL draft by the Denver Broncos, Briscoe was the first African American Quarterback to start for a professional football team. He later went on to win two Super Bowls as a wide receiver, leading the way with four touchdown receptions as a part of the undefeated 1972 Miami Dolphins team.
